Daniel Guerrero is a native of San Marcos, Texas and a 1995 graduate of San Marcos High School. He received his Bachelors degree in Mass Communications and Public Relations from Texas State University - San Marcos and is finishing his Masters degree in Organizational Leadership and Ethics at St. Edward's University in Austin, Texas.
As a former San Marcos City Council member and Mayor Pro Tem, Daniel has an enriched relationship with the San Marcos CISD, business community, and San Marcos High School alumni network.
As executive director, Daniel is responsible for the strategic planning, fundraising development, organizational administration, supervision and implementation of programs that will complement and provide financial assistance to the San Marcos Consolidated Independent School District.
Daniel's vision is to help the San Marcos Education Foundation promote its mission by developing community relationships, direct marketing programs and events to cultivate, motivate, and solicit individual, foundation, and corporate donors.
